Youth Sessions

We are currently running youth club sessions on a Tuesday evening from 6:00pm. Our focus is on supporting young people to develop their skills. We cook with them, look at mindfulness, play games and sports. We learn practical skills (such as fixing a puncture, sewing etc) We educate our young people in an age appropriate way to give them the skills to advocate for themselves. We have staff trained in Relationships and Sex Education so we are able to advise young people on issues such as consent, and being safe. We can also give out free condoms and pregnancy tests.

Careers and Education

We know how challenging education can be for many young people. The education system is unable to meet the needs of some students and over time this can have a negative impact on their wellbeing. We have staff who have worked in education and can give limited advice on education, training and careers.

We are here to support in a non-judgemental way to help young people learn to navigate their world and advocate for themselves.

Youth Club Building

The new building is now finished!

Our youth sessions are bookable through the bookings page. The building is also available for private hire. Please get in touch for more information.

Mentor Scheme

Supporting young people who

need a little extra.

Mentors are there to support, listen and advise, but mostly to have fun!

For young people who may need some guidance, to help with their self-confidence or to have a break from their day-to-day life, we are offering mentor sessions.

There will be 6 sessions, with a budget of £30 per session. Activities will be chosen by the young person and their mentor (provided parents/carers agree to the activity).

We have a limited number of spaces available.

If you know of a young person who might benefit from sessions with a mentor then please get in touch for more information.

New Milton Town Council think it's important that our young people have a say in what they want to see in the town, what needs to change and what they feel works well.

We all need to feel heard and appreciated, regardless of age, and we want to empower young people to have their voices heard, stand up for what they believe in, and learn to communicate their views in a productive way.

Teenage years aren't always easy. As we transition from childhood into adulthood, there is no easy way to learn life lessons. Having the right level of support can be the difference between a person thriving, or falling through the cracks.
